1 - Does EISA builds only large vessels?
No. EISA has two lateral slipways. On the main slipway ships up to 280 meters in length can be constructed, while on the second slipway ships with 130 meters or less can be built, thus ships with different sizes and capacities can be built simultaneously. On our reference list, out of more than 400 vessels built on those slipways, nearly 300 are small vessels, such as tugs, barges, supply boats, fishing boats and drags.
2 - Is EISA exclusively a ship building company?
No. EISA has the industrial structure and necessary expertise to engage in several venues of work. Repair and several types of conversion have been carried out for Brazilian and foreign clients.
Offshore jobs and the construction of supply boats are carried out in full compliance of international standards, required by Brazilian oil company Petrobras and other major oil companies, including among those jobs manifolds, platform modules, jackets and mono-buoys.
Stationary related jobs that require the use of steel and large industrial capacities can also be carried out, such as large steel ducts.
3 - What is the profile of EISAs management and its work force?
EISA shipyard is the property of two shareholders that occupy the presidency and vice-presidency of the board. Both are renowned executives with over 30 years of experience in the naval business - Manoel Ribeiro Gonçalves and Ronaldo Perylles dos Santos. Structured for a full crew of 5.000, EISAs work force is dimensioned to fulfill the needs of our contracts.
Expert professionals, with several years of experience in this and other shipyards, occupy work posts in several phases of the project, from planning to production, quality control, supply, budgeting, sales, personnel, administration, social and medical services, training and security.
4 - Is EISA prepared for exporting?
Yes. In fact, from this shipyard vessels have been delivered to ship owners around the globe, such as Hapag-Loyde, Blue Star Line, Y.K. Pao, and for several countries such as Mexico, Germany, Hong Kong, United Kingdom and Belgium.
EISAs staff is used to the highest building standards, complying with every rule and standard established by international classification societies, as well as those applying to respective regional flags. EISA can also assist shipbuilders on Brazilian legislation and on means and ways to secure special export financing with the Brazilian government.
5 - Has EISA shipyard been respecting timelines and delivery schedules according to its contracts?
This is one of our main sales pitch and a fact of great pride at EISA. When a contract is signed and its dates are set, those dates have always been fully respected in every way, in some cases even anticipated. This has even generated the payment of contract established bonuses, which were immediately transferred to the workers of the shipyard.
